Introduction 

The Performing Arts Faculty is committed to providing as many high-quality opportunities as possible for our students. From Year 7 to Year 13, we create experiences that reflect professional standards while fostering creativity, confidence and community. Collaboration between year groups is central to our provision, creating a welcoming and supportive culture. 

Music 

Music is a vibrant part of school life, with over 250 students participating in weekly ensembles and bands and around 170 students receiving instrumental or vocal lessons.

Drama 

We offer LAMDA tuition, with 31 students developing acting, public speaking and communication skills that support success both on and off the stage. 

School Productions 

Every two years, the department stages a major musical production involving around 90 students on stage, supported by student musicians and technical crews. Productions run for six performances and reach audiences of more than 1,000 people. In alternate years, a full theatrical production is staged for theatre-focused students.
