Our Commitment

We will:

• Deliver a stable careers programme embedded across all key stages (Gatsby Benchmark 1).
• Provide up-to-date labour market information and future skills insights (Benchmark 2).
• Ensure guidance offered is tailored to meet individual needs (Benchmark 3)
• Ensure careers learning is embedded in the curriculum (Benchmark 4).
• Offer personalised guidance and support, including access to a qualified careers adviser (Benchmark 8).
• Facilitate meaningful encounters with employers and employees (Benchmark 5).
• Provide opportunities for experiences of workplaces (Benchmark 6).
• Support students in exploring further and higher education pathways, including apprenticeships (Benchmark 7)
• Track and evaluate careers provision to ensure continuous improvement and impact.

Student Entitlement

Every student will:

•  Receive high-quality careers education from Year 7 onwards.
• Access digital platforms such as Unifrog to explore careers, build CVs, and manage applications.
• Participate in careers events, including fairs, workshops, and employer talks.
• Be supported at key transition points (e.g. Year 9 options, Year 11 destinations, Year 13 progression).
• Be encouraged to develop employability skills, including teamwork, communication, and resilience.
• Be exposed to a diverse range of role models and career pathways, challenging stereotypes and promoting equality and inclusion

We will work in collaboration with:

• Local and national employers
• Further and higher education institutions
• Apprenticeship providers
• Parents and carers
• Local Enterprise Partnerships and Careers Hubs

Monitoring & Evaluation

We will:

• Use Compass+ and other tools to track Gatsby Benchmark progress.
• Collect student voice and feedback to shape provision.
