After nine weeks under the soil the ‘pants’ were ready to be dug up. We noticed a few holes in the material were microbes and insects had eaten through them. When we assessed the experiment, we thought it would have been better if the material hadn’t been tightly folded, just laid flat. The theory is that more microbes and soil life would have a wider area to attach to. Many thanks to the Eco- team of Maya, James, Connor and Soraiya.
