Below is the timetable of public examinations for the summer 2020 session. Adjustments will be made in the event of clashes; students will receive a personal examination timetable with details of such arrangements before the end of April 2020.
Parents and students should be aware of the exam board notice below. This is a national arrangement and outside the control of the Academy. Further information can be found from Ofqual’s website.
Wednesday 24 June 2020 will be a ‘contingency day’ for all exam boards in the UK.
In line with Ofqual’s exam system contingency plan , this is an additional day at the end of the exam period. It will only be used in the event of major local or national disruption to summer 2020 exams, in which case it is possible that timetable dates could be affected up to and including the contingency day.
Schools should remind students that they will need to make sure that they are available until 24 June 2020. If the contingency plan needs to be used, we will contact centres with details of what to do next.
Please note for 2021
Tuesday 29th June 2021 will be a ‘contingency day’ for all exam boards in the UK. This means all students sitting external examinations in the summer 2021 session will need to make sure they are available until 29th June 2021.
