One year contract (in the first instance)
28.35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
Salary range: NJC scale 2, points 9 (FTE £16,755)

The Robert Smyth Academy developed from Market Harborough’s oldest school founded in 1607. It is now a vibrant, fast growing 11-19 Academy with over a thousand students, including well over four hundred students in the Sixth Form.

Required to support students aged 11-19 years who may have a wide range of special educational needs, including emotional and behavioural difficulties. Some experience of having worked with students at this age range would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a grade C or equivalent in both English and maths and an understanding of the importance of ‘Child Protection and Safeguarding’ when working in a school environment.
